Google launches Google Drive


Rumours were spreaded about the launch of Google Drive in few months, but today it announced Google Drive launched on its official Google Blog page. For the free plan it will provide 5 GB web space and to paid plan $2.49/month with 25 GB of space that will also increase your Gmail inbox space, further if you want more than pay $4.99/month and for 16 TB pay $800/month.





Google Drive will allow the user to make use of their files at any time any where in real time. On sharing the contents with other, it allows the user to add and see the comments given on your shared contents.

It also uses Image Recognition technique, so when you drag and drop any of the picture it will let you search those image by the location you have visited.

It supports OCR (Optical Character Recognition) that will help you to convert your scanned text contents into soft text contents and allows you to search the text in the scanned file.
