Google Meet is now Free

A big news for the video conferencing service users, the tech giant and leading search engine GOOGLE has announced to make its premium video meetings service "GOOGLE MEET" FREE for all its users from the beginning of the May 2020. This has come at the right time when almost all the corporate and educational institutions are making use of various video calling service to communicate about their workflow. Many questions were raised on many other service providers about misusing the users data. Now, the premium service of Google MEET will be available for FREE to its registered users.

What did the World search for in 2012 ? 1.2 trillion searches in 146 languages

You have enjoyed the last twelve months on the Internet, there must be a chance that you might have searched for a term on Internet using Google at least once.

"The Internet and "The Search Engine" gaint has revealed some of the key searches of year 2012. In its annual report of searching - "The Zeitgeist 2012", Google has mentioned global key searches by country.

On the top of the Google search report is Whitney Houston, who passed away in February and surprisingly, the second position in the report is Gangnam style, Hurricane Sandy, iPad3, Diablo 3 and Kate Middleton made up the rest top 5 position.

LG Nexus 4 will come to India in January 2013


According to source, LG's most awaited smartphone "LG Nexus 4" will be released in January 2013, which will be following up by the "LG Optimus G" smartphone power camera activated with voice is also going to be launched in India. "LG Optimus G" is 13 megapixel camera that allows user to take snap by talking to it, and a sharper qulality picture on 4.7 inch screen compare to iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy SIII.

The Company has not yet reveal any information about the price of both Nexus 4 and Optimus G in India. 
LG Nexus 4 will be the first smartphone with latest Andriod OS version 4.2. It is the collaborative effort of LG and Google.

Gmail announces attachments upto 10 GB


If you are a Gmail user then it will give you immense pleasure to know this, Gmail has announced to support attachments of 10 GB. Earlier it allowed the user to attached the file of maximum file size 25 MB. Google has integrated Google Drive with the Gmail, thus allowing the user to insert the files of Google Drive as an attachment with mail.

With Google Drive, Google allows it Gmail user to send files of 10 GB that is 400 times larger than the traditional attachment file size of 25 MB. Also the all recipients will have access to the latest version of the file.

Google launches its free SMS services for Gmail Users in India

Google has extended its free SMS services for Indian users. The service is already offered to 51 countries like Asia, Africa and North America. This Gmail SMS service allows its users to send free text messages to mobile phones using Gmail Chat.

In India Gmail SMS service is offered on 8 gaint mobile service operators: Idea, Aircel, MTS, Reliance, Tata DoCoMo, Vodafone,Tata indicom & Loop Mobile in few states of India Gujarat, Delhi, Mumbai, Andaman and Nicobar, North East, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal and Kolkata)

Samsung has added one more smartphone to its Galaxy brand, this new Samsung Galaxy flavour will offer fan-tab music player features.

SMS limit extended to 20

Today Government has decided to increase the SMS limit from 5 to 20 per day. It was early restricted to stop adding fuelled to panic people from the India's north-east part.

From 18th August, 2012 the users were restricted not to send more than 5 sms in a day for the next 15 days.

Google Updates Android Voice Search, adding 13 new languages covering 100m users


As the war over voice is still on, today Google has announced about its updation in Voice Search for Android devices that will supported more 13 languages, bringing the total to 42 languages for the regional accents in about 46 countries. As per today’s updates Google claims about around 100 million Andriod device owners will start using Voice Search.

Google adds gmail conversation in search results


Google adds quality to its search results by filling the gap between the its search engine and its gmail service in its latest attempt to deliver a personal responses more quickly.

On Wednesday Google has release its experimental feature that will allow google search results to list out the stored messages of user’s account that will be relevant to the search query. For example if you are typing “India” than your search query will be responded with the links having high page rank along with this on the right hand side of the search result screen, you will find the messages that contain the term of your search query. i.e it will list out the stored messages that include the word “India”.

To start making use of this feature you have to sign up at the Google Search Field Trial. Only first one million users of Gmail will be allowed initially to use this service out of its huge 425 million of users which was started  eight years ago.  When Gmail service was launched it offered 1GB of space to its users, which is today extended upto 10 GB which offers large storage space to store personal information of the user.

Search giant Google adds 34 button virtual scientific calculator

We use Google to search the contents or information over the web or to know the weather, unit conversion, images or to know about quotes and fast calculations.

We all are aware of Google search's mathematical calculation techniques assembled within the search engine. But recently Google has added a virtual calculator which will help the Googlers to perform arithmetic & scientific calculation.

On typing the word "Calculator" in the Google search box. It will display the virtual calculator below it with 34 buttons.
