Slate 2 HP's new Tablet PC at $699


HP (Hewlett-Packard) to be in the Tablet PC competition, introduces Slate 2 Tablet PC, which is  the business targeted Tablet PC with Windows 7 operating system. The last version of the Slate 2 with 9\8.9 inch screen is upgraded with Intel Atom Z670 processor for boosting the boot times and also the battery back is extend up to six hours.
Addtional features for the HP Slate 2 are a 8.9-inch capacitive multi-touch LCD with touch and pen inpu that is supported through an N-Trig digitizer, a Swype keyboard (pre-installed applet), a mSATA SSD for storage, a USB 2.0 port, an SD card slot, SRS Premium sound, one microphone for voice/video chatting, one VGA webcam and a 3MP rear camera

Google announces free website with free domain and webspace for small and medium size business. Google promises to provide this facility to the 5,00,000 SMB (Small and Medium size Businesses) for the next three years.

Google will provide the following services

·         Free .in domain name and hosting for one year
·         Free email addresses
·         Free 365 days support

There are near about 100 million Indian remain online through PCs, mobile phones and many others gadgets. There are about 80,00,000 SMBs in the nation out it about 4,00,000 businesses are online and only 1,00,000 businesses have good quality of websites.

With this initiative of Google, India will be the 19th country, under this initiatives of having '.in' domain, web-hosting, all kinds of technical supports through phone, email or chat, Google email-id and athletics.

TRAI extends the SMSes per day limit upto 200



Its a good news for all the SMS users, as TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has announced to double the SMS limit by 200. Earlier the SMSes were limit upto 100 per day. But TRAI received a proposal from the service providers on behalf of consumer to raise the number of SMSes per day. TRAI earlier imposed the restriction of non-commerical SMSes which can be send from a SIM to 100  whereas, no restriction on commerical messages that are sent via telemarketing companies.

These service will be effective from Tuesday, 01 Nov, 2011.
