What did the World search for in 2012 ? 1.2 trillion searches in 146 languages

You have enjoyed the last twelve months on the Internet, there must be a chance that you might have searched for a term on Internet using Google at least once.

"The Internet and "The Search Engine" gaint has revealed some of the key searches of year 2012. In its annual report of searching - "The Zeitgeist 2012", Google has mentioned global key searches by country.

On the top of the Google search report is Whitney Houston, who passed away in February and surprisingly, the second position in the report is Gangnam style, Hurricane Sandy, iPad3, Diablo 3 and Kate Middleton made up the rest top 5 position.

LG Nexus 4 will come to India in January 2013


According to source, LG's most awaited smartphone "LG Nexus 4" will be released in January 2013, which will be following up by the "LG Optimus G" smartphone power camera activated with voice is also going to be launched in India. "LG Optimus G" is 13 megapixel camera that allows user to take snap by talking to it, and a sharper qulality picture on 4.7 inch screen compare to iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy SIII.

The Company has not yet reveal any information about the price of both Nexus 4 and Optimus G in India. 
LG Nexus 4 will be the first smartphone with latest Andriod OS version 4.2. It is the collaborative effort of LG and Google.

Gmail announces attachments upto 10 GB


If you are a Gmail user then it will give you immense pleasure to know this, Gmail has announced to support attachments of 10 GB. Earlier it allowed the user to attached the file of maximum file size 25 MB. Google has integrated Google Drive with the Gmail, thus allowing the user to insert the files of Google Drive as an attachment with mail.

With Google Drive, Google allows it Gmail user to send files of 10 GB that is 400 times larger than the traditional attachment file size of 25 MB. Also the all recipients will have access to the latest version of the file.

Google launches its free SMS services for Gmail Users in India

Google has extended its free SMS services for Indian users. The service is already offered to 51 countries like Asia, Africa and North America. This Gmail SMS service allows its users to send free text messages to mobile phones using Gmail Chat.

In India Gmail SMS service is offered on 8 gaint mobile service operators: Idea, Aircel, MTS, Reliance, Tata DoCoMo, Vodafone,Tata indicom & Loop Mobile in few states of India Gujarat, Delhi, Mumbai, Andaman and Nicobar, North East, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal and Kolkata)

Samsung has added one more smartphone to its Galaxy brand, this new Samsung Galaxy flavour will offer fan-tab music player features.

SMS limit extended to 20

Today Government has decided to increase the SMS limit from 5 to 20 per day. It was early restricted to stop adding fuelled to panic people from the India's north-east part.

From 18th August, 2012 the users were restricted not to send more than 5 sms in a day for the next 15 days.

Google Updates Android Voice Search, adding 13 new languages covering 100m users


As the war over voice is still on, today Google has announced about its updation in Voice Search for Android devices that will supported more 13 languages, bringing the total to 42 languages for the regional accents in about 46 countries. As per today’s updates Google claims about around 100 million Andriod device owners will start using Voice Search.

Google adds gmail conversation in search results


Google adds quality to its search results by filling the gap between the its search engine and its gmail service in its latest attempt to deliver a personal responses more quickly.

On Wednesday Google has release its experimental feature that will allow google search results to list out the stored messages of user’s account that will be relevant to the search query. For example if you are typing “India” than your search query will be responded with the links having high page rank along with this on the right hand side of the search result screen, you will find the messages that contain the term of your search query. i.e it will list out the stored messages that include the word “India”.

To start making use of this feature you have to sign up at the Google Search Field Trial. Only first one million users of Gmail will be allowed initially to use this service out of its huge 425 million of users which was started  eight years ago.  When Gmail service was launched it offered 1GB of space to its users, which is today extended upto 10 GB which offers large storage space to store personal information of the user.

Search giant Google adds 34 button virtual scientific calculator

We use Google to search the contents or information over the web or to know the weather, unit conversion, images or to know about quotes and fast calculations.

We all are aware of Google search's mathematical calculation techniques assembled within the search engine. But recently Google has added a virtual calculator which will help the Googlers to perform arithmetic & scientific calculation.

On typing the word "Calculator" in the Google search box. It will display the virtual calculator below it with 34 buttons.

Google halts new order of 16GB Nexus 7

With the superb launch of the Google Nexus 7 tablet pc, the tech gaint is getting the orders out of expecations.

Last week the company post a message on its online store to inform its customers that the order will be delayed by two or more weeks and has stopped taking more orders.

The 16 GB Nexus 7 tablet is available the at Kmart, Sam's Club, GameStop, Staples, Office Depot, and Staples  in Canada.

The Google Nexus 7 is the only tablet pc which runs on the latest versio of the Android known as Jelly Bean. Which comes with 8 GB and 16 GB storage capacity and built by Asus.

Google announces NEXUS 7


Google on its fifth Google IO 2012 conference, announced its small computer known as "Nexus 7" which will work on the Android Mobile operating system version 4.1 named as "Jelly Bean", designed for Google Play(Google Play - Its Google Online movies, music, games, books and apps services).

Google along with ASUS company will release the product in the month of mid-July, in the first round of the launch the tablet will be available in America, UK, Australia and Canada.

The device will be available in the mid of July at price of $199 equal to the Amazon Kindle Fire.

The tablet features are as follow.

Facebook changes its user's email address

If you have an account on giant social networking site FACEBOOK than you should note this that, your primary e-mail which was submitted at the time of signing up the facebook is change to facebook.com. 


This changes were pointed out by the blogger in  the weekend, as this was release earlier in the month of april "updating addresses on Facebook to make them consistent across our site." Facebook will allow its user to set which email id should be seen by the other users.

BSNL launches Aakash tablet's rival

BSNL launched three tablet pc, which are considered to the Aakash tablet's rival. Among this three tablets, two of them are 7 inch wide screen along with Android 2.3 operating system whereas the third one has 8 inch touch screen.

The three bsnl tablet pc are named as follow :

Aakash tablet is upgraded on testing by IIT-Bombay : Datawind

Datawind a UK based tablet manufacturing company which is going to manufacuture the cheapest tablet of the world for the Human Resource Ministry of India. The company said the revised specification version of Aakash-II is under the testing phase at the IIT - Mumbai, the work is going to get complete by the end of the June. 

The Datawind company has submitted about 100 tablets to the IIT-Mumbai for the testing process. The HR Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal said that "Latest version of the akash tablet is under the process towards finalization of the specification and technology which will be completed by the end of this month".

The price of Akash tablet is Rs 2,276 a piece. Whereas, the government will give about one lakh tablets to the students at subsidised price Rs 1,100-1,200 each.

On monday 11th June, 2012 Apple released its new impressive high resolution laptop named as "MacBook Air Laptops". It comes with very high resolution of 5 millions pixels that is 3 millions more than the HD display.
The "retina display" - measures 15.5 inches across and with quad core i7 processor. It supports memory upto 16GB and internal flash storage upto 768 GB. Computer's display is same as iPad with 7 hours of battery life.
Thickness of the notebook is 0.7 inches which consider as the slimmest notebook so far that weights 4.5 pounds - it's light and thin.

Google, few days back has launched its Google Drive cloud-storage services that will allow the users to upload about 5 GB data on Google server for free.

Google launches Google Drive


Rumours were spreaded about the launch of Google Drive in few months, but today it announced Google Drive launched on its official Google Blog page. For the free plan it will provide 5 GB web space and to paid plan $2.49/month with 25 GB of space that will also increase your Gmail inbox space, further if you want more than pay $4.99/month and for 16 TB pay $800/month.





Google Drive will allow the user to make use of their files at any time any where in real time. On sharing the contents with other, it allows the user to add and see the comments given on your shared contents.

It also uses Image Recognition technique, so when you drag and drop any of the picture it will let you search those image by the location you have visited.

It supports OCR (Optical Character Recognition) that will help you to convert your scanned text contents into soft text contents and allows you to search the text in the scanned file.

Gideon Sundback is not a man, who invented zip but made it work perfect in every one's daily life. Today its 132nd birth anniversary of Gideon Sundback. Upgraded Aakash II tablet to be available at same price: Sibal

The world's cheapest tablet - "Aakash II", will be available soon in India with major upgradtion and most exciting information is that the "Aakash II" will be available with the same price.

Kipal Sibal (Telecom and HRD Minister) said the previous manufacturer of the tablet - "Datawind" will not be associated with Indian Government to carry out this project. The Government has tied-up the project work with C-DAC and ITI. Also added by Mr. Sibal that the latest version will be launched in the same year 2012. When you dream bigger, things dont move smooth.

The Aakash tablet is priced at approximately $49 (Rs 2414).

Convert your file into different format through your eMail
